BOROUGH OF FENWICK - SWIM INSTRUCTOR

This is a temporary on-site role for a Swimming Instructor, located in Old Saybrook, CT. The Swimming Instructor will be responsible for conducting swim lessons, providing swim instruction, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all participants. Daily tasks include planning and conducting swimming lessons for various age groups, overseeing aquatics activities, and maintaining a safe environment by enforcing all rules and providing lifeguarding services as needed.

Must be available from June 30th -  August 22nd. 15-20 hours per week, generally will be 3 hours/day Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

WI and Lifeguarding Certifications required.

•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•   Ability to work effectively with people of all ages and skill levels
•   Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED is a plus
•   Previous experience in swim instruction desired.
