After just three years of business, Sip Wine Bar in Old Saybrook, CT has been nominated for Best Wine Bar in Connecticut by CT Insider’s Best of CT
OLD SAYBROOK,CT – April 1, 2024 – The staff of Sip Wine Bar in Old Saybrook, CT is proud and honored to announce that Sip has been nominated for Best Wine Bar in CT. Having opened during the pandemic in November 2020, the bar’s future was immensely uncertain at its start, so to be nominated for such a prestigious award only three-and-a-half years later leaves owners Derrik and Kelley Kennedy beaming with gratitude.
“After only three years in business, we at Sip are honored to be recognized among such impressive peers for this category,” says Derrik Kennedy, “and we are grateful for the wonderful Old Saybrook community in which we live and work. Our guests are why we do what we do, and fostering a joyful, relaxing, unpretentious community space in which folks can come to enjoy, learn about, and celebrate the world of wine is our highest goal.
