Support Needed for Hurricane Helene Victims

Collection Drive for those left devastated by Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene caused significant damage in Asheville, North Carolina, and through Western North Carolina leaving many in urgent need of assistance.  Rotary Clubs in Southern CT are organizing a massive relief effort this Tuesday.

Rotary's in Southern CT will help pack trucks with needed items and immediately be on their way to Asheville North Carolina.  The supplies will be distributed there to the Rotary district in Asheville, ensuring that your donations reach those most affected by Hurricane Helen in that area.

Please help Old Saybrook Rotary and our neighboring local Rotary's by purchasing the needed items listed and dropping them off on Tuesday, October 8th at the Madison Stop and Shop.  Drop off 11:00 am - 11:30 am.

• Pet food and kitty litter
• All types of batteries
• Heavy-duty extension cords
• Generators
