The Old Saybrook Rotary is proud to host the Rotary District 6970 Youth 4-Way Test Speech Contest Finals at Old Saybrook High School on April 26th, from 9 AM to Noon. This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate youth, creativity, and peace-building efforts.

The morning kicks off with a special concert by Rotary Peace Fellow Diego Carneiro, a master cellist who will set the tone for this incredible event. Next, witness the Youth Speech Contest where talented finalists will present thought-provoking speeches centered around the Rotary 4-Way Test. Rotarians in attendance will cast their votes to determine the contest champion!

Afterward, enjoy a presentation by John Waller, District Peace Committee co-chair, and Diego, as they share reflections on their recent visit to a Peace Conference in Turkey. To conclude the event, we’ll host a panel discussion featuring the speech contest finalists—a rare chance to hear their perspectives and insights.
