Nautilus Architects Welcomes Autumn with a Spectacular Seasonal Installation in Celebration of “The Art of Giving”
A festive collaboration with fellow Greater Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce member Red Wagon Pumpkins transforms the Old Lyme architecture studio into an autumn showcase ahead of its November 13 art exhibition and charitable celebration.

OLD LYME, CT — October 21, 2026 — Autumn has arrived in spectacular fashion at Nautilus Architects, where a vibrant seasonal installation celebrates the beauty of the harvest, the spirit of community, and the anticipation of the firm's upcoming The Art of Giving event.
Created in collaboration with Red Wagon Pumpkins, a fellow member of the Greater Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce (GOSCC), the installation transforms the exterior of Nautilus Architects' Old Lyme studio into an inviting autumn landscape.
Featuring more than 100 pumpkins and gourds, complemented by seasonal flowers, exotic ornamental grasses, and twinkling lights, the display brings together natural textures, rich autumn colors, and a touch of whimsy. The result is a festive expression of creativity and collaboration that welcomes visitors and passersby alike.
For Nautilus Architects, a firm recognized for its thoughtfully designed custom residences, the installation reflects a belief that beautiful spaces have the power to inspire connection and create memorable experiences.
“Architecture is about more than buildings. It's about creating places that bring people together,” said Christopher Arelt, Principal of Nautilus Architects. “This installation is a wonderful expression of that philosophy, and a festive way to welcome our community as we prepare for The Art of Giving.”
The seasonal transformation also celebrates the value of local business partnerships. By collaborating with Red Wagon Pumpkins, Nautilus Architects highlights the creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit found within the Greater Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce community.
Setting the Stage for The Art of Giving
The autumn display serves as a festive prelude to The Art of Giving, an invitation-only art exhibition and charitable celebration hosted by Nautilus Architects in collaboration with Sponzo Interiors on Friday, November 13, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Nautilus Architects studio in Old Lyme.
The one-night event will bring together artists, clients, friends, and community supporters for an evening celebrating original art, creativity, and philanthropy.
Featuring a curated selection of painting, sculpture, and jewelry, the exhibition offers guests an opportunity to meet participating artists, discover exceptional works, and support charitable giving, including the American Red Cross.
A portion of participating artwork sales will benefit charitable causes, reinforcing the event's central message: that art, generosity, and community can come together to make a meaningful difference.
With its glowing lights, abundant harvest display, and welcoming autumn atmosphere, Nautilus Architects' seasonal installation offers a glimpse of the warmth and creativity awaiting guests at The Art of Giving.
