Cottage Flair Hosts “Blind Date With a Book” Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Old Saybrook, CT – October 9, 2025 – Cottage Flair invites the community to join them for a special evening in support of breast cancer awareness and research. On Thursday, October 9th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Cottage Flair will host a “Blind Date With a Book” Breast Cancer Fundraiser at their Old Saybrook location.

Guests will enjoy a unique twist on book shopping: each book is wrapped and beautifully decorated, with its contents remaining a mystery until it’s unwrapped. Attendees can select their preferred genre and take home their surprise “blind date” for $14 each.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation.

In addition to books, the evening will feature:

• Sips and snacks for guests

• A free gift with purchases of $25 or more

• A raffle for a $100 Cottage Flair gift card
