AWR-343: Hurricane Awareness

Course Overview:
AWR-343: Hurricane Awareness is designed for a whole community audience, including the private sector, small business owners, civic organizations, non-profit groups, and the general public. The training provides participants with an understanding of hurricane science, forecasting, warning, preparedness, and response considerations. It also discusses how hurricanes can impact our region and steps that organizations and individuals can take to increase resilience.
Key Details:
This course is an excellent chance for businesses and community members to connect directly with emergency responders, emergency management professionals, and other local partners. By attending, participants will gain practical knowledge to help protect employees, customers, and business operations in the event of a hurricane or severe weather event.
