Astra Studio Dance Company Earns Top Honors at Turn It Up Regionals
SPRINGFIELD, MA (Feb. 6–8, 2026) — The Astra Studio Dance Company of Old Saybrook delivered an impressive weekend of performances at the Turn It Up Dance Challenge – Springfield Regionals, earning multiple Platinum and High Platinum adjudications, overall placements, Judges Awards, and a prestigious studio-wide honor.http://www.AstraStudioCT.com
 
Astra Studio was presented with the “Class Act Award.” The honor recognizes the studio whose dancers and families demonstrate exceptional professionalism, sportsmanship, and positive backstage conduct throughout the event.
 
“Our dancers represented Astra with focus, teamwork, and heart,” said Artistic Director Brittany Wigglesworth. “We are incredibly proud not only of their performances, but of the way they supported one another and conducted themselves all weekend.”
 
The Astra Studio Company Dancers include: Aylen Abarca-Calle, Lucy Burke, Emma Chapin, Mae Chapin, Kora Chapman, Chloe Durbin, Emily Durbin, Abigail Goddard, Scarlett Green, Ava Levasseur, Charlotte Nicklous, Shelby Pauloski, Addison Payne, Riley Reid, Bailey Rohrer, Isabel Tedesco, Mila Toddammon (all of Old Saybrook), Emilia Alvarez and Molly George (both of Clinton), Jojo Loflin and Zoë Brunza (both of Old Lyme), Lyrical Hupkau and Lola Turchetti (both of Essex), Zelda Jandreau (Haddam), and Julia DeSousa (Westbrook). Dancers train in a wide range of performance styles and competitive divisions.
