Job Developer
We are seeking a Job Developer to join the Vista team.
The Job Developer works in partnership with others to obtain work placement for Vista students/members so they can ultimately achieve successful work placements.
This is a Full-Time, Benefit and Paid Time-Off eligible position.
Responsibilities for a Job Developer include:
- Work directly with students/members to provide employment planning and job search preparation readiness, to include mock interviews, application, resume and cover letter completion
- Pro-actively obtain employment opportunities for students/members through research and cold calling
- Be an advocate for students/members in employee-employer relationships
- Knowledge and understanding of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 1-3 years of related experience.
- Possess a general knowledge of job placement and various job functions in different industries.
- Valid driver’s license and maintain acceptable driving record as defined by Vista.
- CPR and First Aid or the ability to obtain certifications within 90 days of hire.
