Women-Owned Business Day

Women-Owned Business Day is a unique opportunity for Connecticut’s women entrepreneurs and state legislators to connect and share thoughts and ideas about the issues that impact Connecticut’s small women-owned businesses each and every day. Join the Women’s Business Development Council, our legislative hosts, and Connecticut-based entrepreneurs to connect in our state’s capital and celebrate the real impact women-owned businesses have had on Connecticut’s economy, our communities, and our families. The event will feature remarks from state and business leaders, and WBDC clients will share successful strategies on how they accessed capital. The program also includes a pitch competition for WBDC’s Accelerate Grant program, with eligible WBDC clients competing for $25,000 to support the growth of their businesses.
