Annual 'Heroes Tree' Lighting

“Heroes Tree” Lighting at Katharine Hepburn Theater Join us on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 5 p.m. at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, 300 Main Street, Old Saybrook, for the annual “Heroes Tree” lighting. Honoring Connecticut’s armed forces, the tree features Gold Stars for the fallen, Silver Stars for the injured, and Blue Stars for those actively serving. Decorated by veterans, it stands as a tribute to their sacrifices. Created by Navy Gold Star Mother Kathryn Cross, the tree serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by service members and their families. Join us to honor their legacy.
