Duck River Garden Club Announces Annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale at New Location

Old Lyme, CT — The Duck River Garden Club of Old Lyme and East Lyme is pleased to announce its much-anticipated Annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale, a beloved community tradition that brings together gardening enthusiasts and local residents each spring.

This year, the sale will be held at a new location — the Lyme Art Association, 90 Lyme Street in Old Lyme. The Club is pleased to partner with the Lyme Art Association to host this cherished event in such a vibrant community setting.

Shoppers can look forward to browsing a vibrant and diverse selection of plants, including annuals, vegetables and herbs, native pollinator plants, geraniums, and the club’s ever-popular hanging baskets.

A special highlight of the event is the Member’s Plant Area, where visitors can purchase unique plants cultivated directly from the gardens of club members.

Proceeds from the sale directly support the Duck River Garden Club’s community initiatives, including scholarships for students in Old Lyme and East Lyme, civic beautification projects throughout both towns, public educational programs, and senior programming.

The sale will take place:
Friday, May 8: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturday, May 9: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Credit cards are accepted; however, the Club appreciates the use of local checks or cash whenever possible.

Community members are encouraged to mark their calendars and enjoy this special event in its new location.
