Student & Member Support Counselor/Community Driver
We are seeking a Student & Member Support Counselor/Community Driver to join the Vista team.
Responsibilities for a Student & Member Support Counselor/Community Driver include:
- Providing transportation, using Vista’s fleet of vehicles, to students and members in the local shoreline community to their places of employment, for shopping and appointments, and for recreational and social activities.
- Scheduling transportation rides as students and members call to arrange pick-up and drop-off times.
- Assisting with floor/phone coverage and residential activities at the Westbrook campus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
- Ability to life up to 40 lbs. (possibility of lifting a wheelchair into a car/van)
- Ability to drive a van/car and operate all functions of the vehicles
- Ability to learn how to use the wheelchair life on the SSC vehicle
- May need to obtain a Public Service License within 90 days of hire.
Job Type/Shift Information: Full Time, Sunday-Thursday, 3pm to 11pm
Hourly Rate: $20.00
Benefits and Paid Time-Off are available for eligible employees based on the regular number of hours worked.
