Alpha Dog Bark Markets and Sunday Fun Runs for Dogs are held the last Sunday of every month at Firemen's Field, 210 Elm St (across from Pasta Vita), Old Saybrook. These dog-focused, Farmers market inspired events are designed to provide dog owners and dog people with a place to bring their family, especially the dogs, for the day and enjoy the Cricket Car Hop Food Truck, Acoustic music from J Edmond, pet and human product vendors, the famous Alpha Dog Fun Run Corral off-leash activity for dogs, beach volleyball, bocce, corn hole toss, horseshoes, and lots of shady spots and open grass for all kinds of dogs and all kinds of humans who love their dogs and are looking for places to take them. All dogs must be on a leash and owners are expected to clean up after their dogs. There is NO ADMISSION, but a suggested donation of $10 at registration to support our local rescue partners is encouraged. We also accept donation of supplies and food for local shelters. blankets and towels are always needed. Thanks!
