The Montessori Method of education was developed in Italy by Dr. Maria Montessori over 100 years ago. The method is a child-centered scientific educational approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child: physical\, social\, emotional\, and cognitive. The certified teachers guide the students through the process of choosing self-directed\, hands-on activities. Students learn concepts from working with the materials.\n\n\n\nMontessori Curriculum Night is held annually at CTMS to help parents and those interested in the philosophy to better understand how a Montessori student spends their day. We alternate curriculum night each year to focus on either math or language.
